I'll answer your question about the weather. No Denver does not have bad weather. That's a myth that people in other states think. Denver's weather is really good, and much better than many other states.

As for drivers, if you've lived and driven in the Baltimore/D.C./N.Va area, you'll think Denver drivers are tame.

Winters here are actually better than DC area. Sure it can blizzard and get cold here, but the snow is usually gone in a day after the sun comes out. Out east, the snow/ice storms and resultant power outage can linger for weeks. I've driven a lot on the beltway and adopted some aggressive behavior as a result. You'll find drivers here to be a lot more relaxed.
