When PS1 first began, I think it really was a 'school without walls.'
I really admired what the team that created it was doing.
I am unconvinced that this is how it remained. I did get the sense that it turned into more of a 'problem child' school.
However, it's been several years since I left Denver and I am no longer in contact with any of those people.
I don't know anything about the school on Cook Street.
What are your son's interests?
Would the
School of Science and Technology appeal to him, or does he need a more specialized environment?
When I lived in Denver, my next door neighbor sent her teen daughter to
Jefferson County Open School. Both daughter and mom were very pleased with her experience there.
