You know the square rubber thing you put between the bindings so like when you get off ski lift and you only have one foot hooked in you put your other foot on it? What is that thing called because I have to get another one mine came off last time I went in March. Also can ski patrol actually give you a ticket like a regular cop? I got chewed out by one at cooper ski hill in Leadville I was going too fast and slid up the staircase where there lodge thing is. I got a 10 minute lecture on going too fast, yielding the right of way, not jumping over things.

I think the thing you a referring to is a STOMP PAD. Also, ski patrol can pull your lift ticket.

Part of being a responsible skier/rider is being aware that you are not the only person on the slopes. The ski patrol can (and will) pull your ticket (at any resort) if they feel you are endangering others.

What about those of us who know all too well what we're doing and what those around us are doing? It's not being irresponsible if you're safely being a bit on the inconsiderate side of things.
