Hi. My husband and I are thinking about moving to Lakewood,Co.
Any suggestions on good neighborhoods. We have a 11 mo old, But by the time we decide to move she will be about 1 year 1/2.

We live in Bakersfield,California. Don't wanna live here any more. Love to move to the coast but too too expensive.

we want to rent first if we decide to move there. And if we love Colorado. We want to buy our first home there.

But I want to also ask. Any suggestions on Apartments. Close to Daycares and Post Offices. Hubby works for them.

How is the weather. Does it it get humid? Like they type of Humidity where you can't breath and feel sticky wet all time. or more like a mild humid.. not to sticky but bearable.
I hate humid.

Does it snow? Does it stay? OH man to many questions..
WELL... any suggestions will be helpful.
Thanks

Mern: Not humid here, very pleasant. We've a ton of threads on weather and snow, check the index; short story is that it does snow, usually a little, once in while it may be a lot, melts quickly and is NOT a deal breaker in any way.

IMO, get his job transferred, the rest will be easy, it's all here and it's all good.

Lakewood is lovely, Denver is in an alpine desert- it is never humid. Lakewood is very central to everything, you will have no trouble being near the post office, Lakewood is extremely easy to live in, you'll have no problems finding a place and all your living supplies right at hand. If I may suggest a part of Lakewood I find personally very nice, check out around alameda and union.
