You can get a nice house in Apex that you'll pay twice as much for in Denver. The hospitals here are pretty scattered, but you can reach all of them pretty close off the interstate. They also have Krispy Kremes here.

That's brutal. I thought Denver would have at least one

Their breakfast sandwich does it for me. Anyone knows if Bruegger's bagels are around? I used to love them too.

Have you been there recently, that place has been closed for a couple years. Try calling them and see.

Default Interested to find out what you find out...

First time using this site and we are looking at relocating from the midwest to either Denver or Greensboro, NC. I've never been to either but we just want to escape the midwest winters! My husband tells me Greensboro is always humid (which I hate), but Denver seems so far west. Not sure what we'll do but interested in following your replies...(trust you won't mind). Thanks!

BTW, I would be working in health care
thanks!

No. While the forecast was for snow, Denver didn't get snow.

Higher elevations did, but it turned out the forecast for Denver wasn't accurate, and it wasn't quite cold enough in Denver for snow. We had some rain and gloom. (From the Colorado Springs threads here on C-D of the past couple of days, it sounds like there was snow in the Springs.)

There were a few flakes here and there in the west, south, and southeast suburbs.

Nothing to write home about, or post a blog photo...
