It has been a while since I checked on this forum, as real life and getting settled and being a full time parent has kept me busy since we moved in March.

We have been here 8 weeks now. We are loving Denver so far, our rental home we found is very nice, as is the neighborhood we are in. (Arapahoe/Colorado Area of Littleton/Centennial)

I wanted to thank everyone here who offered advice and information before our move.

I am currently just being a full time dad, though I do plan on looking for work soon. (so if anyone wants to chime in with contacts/leads for work in the IT field I would be more than happy to receive them.)

We are so glad we have chosen Denver as our home. Thanks again!

Glad you like it! Hope you plan on staying a while.

What do you most/least like about Denver so far? What has been most surprising?

Like most... Weather (though you can imagine since I was coming from a desert, any type of weather would be great to me.) It is wonderful seeing blue skys most days, and having temperature changes, as well as precipitation again. (in Dubai, we had "clear" weather everyday (no clouds) but the sky was always a tannish blue due to all the sand in the air.

Least- wow that is a tough one... I did slide off the road up in the mountains last month.. I hated that.. though it was my fault for 1- driving at 1 am in Breckenridge, and 2-not having my truck in 4 wheel drive... So I guess getting used to driving on slick roads again.. Shoot we didn't even have rain to deal with over in the desert...

Most Surprising - I guess how friendly everyone has been. I honestly cannot think of a time when someone has been rude to us. And I would say most of the time people have been generally friendly and courteous.
