Aurora commute times?
What would be the commute times be from the following suburbs to Childrens Hospital in Aurora?
Broomfield
Boulder
Westminster
I will need to be there by 8:00 and leave at 5:00. Would there be a better way to get there other than to take 36 in/out or 25 in/out (looking for apt).

that is a horrible commute, any way you go. I am gonna say if you are looking for a place. stay towards 36 it will be faster than I-25. I would move closer to the hospital, there are some nice apts on lowry. back to your ? I bet it is an hour in traffic.

Choose central, south or east Denver, for your sanity.

Broomfield -- 45 minutes to over an hour each way -- traffic every single day.
Boulder -- Surely you jest.
Westminster -- 25-40 minutes each way -- again traffic every single day and the same horrible choices as above in terms of routes. 270 backs up for seemingly no reason and every rush hour. 25 south backs up from about 120th to at least Park Ave every morning. 70 randomly slows to a crawl most days.

Please keep in mind that when it snows, commute time could easily double.
Boulder would be out of the questions for me and I would really try to avoid Bloomfield and Westminster if I could and be closer.

Is there a reason you are looking at subdivisions clear across town? Why not simply get a place close like in Centennial, Aurora, or Parker even?
Unless you like spending 3+ hours per day in your car

I knew someone who commuted from Boulder, he'd get up at 3am every morning, and leave at 8pm every night. He said commute wasn't bad at all.

We just want to live in a nice area. We are a young couple with 2 cats and like it quiet. We have vacationed in the areas I mentioned earlier and liked them. We have never been around the Aurora area before. Also, my guy doesn't know where he will be working yet. Does anyone have suggestions on nice apartments within a 30 min commute from the childrens hospital?

Ummm .... errrr .... the areas you have listed are rather unkind for a commute to Childrens ... and as a "young couple" ... perhaps you might want to invest more time in discovering Denver?
