Hey guys,

I'm from England, 19 years old and studying at the moment - hoping to go University next year. My sister lives out in the Aurora, CO and I visit her twice a year. Once in the winter and for a longer period of time in the summer. Last summer was major boredom for me cuz I just couldn't find any people my age!

I'm a real laugh and you'll have plenty of fun trying to understand my accent haha =D

Anybody know any places where I can meet people round my age (I'm 19) do activites and such

Thanks

The social situation in the United States is different than what you're used to in Europe/other countries. Here in the U.S. things are spread out and people don't hang out on the streets much, they mostly hang out in their houses.

A lot of young people go to bars to meet eachother. I guess that's okay if you like that sort of thing. I personally don't, so what I do is join an athletic club and try to meet people that way. There's just not a whole lot of options.

At your age people meet up in University settings and from jobs around here. It's kinda hard just to randomly bump into people at the mall and strike up conversations. If you play sports try some of the local recreational leagues, that's also a good way to meet up with people with similar interests.
