By expensive do you just mean renting an apartment, or just everything overall is more expensive in CC? But isd CC a place where a lot of younger people live? And is there a bus that is accessible close to CC?

Expensive. Old money, and new money. young people with lots of money.
East of Colorado have more reasonable rentals. Reasonable may mean younger adults, since young people tend to want to spend less money on housing and more money on playthings.

I agree with 2bindenver- I would stay on east side of Colorado, Glendale address. Cherry Creek is very expensive and honestly, a bit older for your taste. Think 30 somethings with kids and 30 and 40 somethings with lots of money going to high end bars...
If I were you, I'd still try and get in at the downtown Chili's. Uptown and city park is also an option, with lots of nightlife choices as well as city park for walking/running. It will be cheaper for rentals than downtown/lodo areas. Capitol Hill also also a good option, as matt mentioned.

I can transfer to any Chili's so that is no problem, I just want to be close to work and very close to the city. So you are recommending Capital Hill or uptown or city park? Thank everyone for there help. I need to find an apartment soon since I will be in Colorado by the first of July.

They're similar to each other -- you probably need to find a place with reasonable rent in one of those areas.
Personally, I like Cheesman Park the best in that part of Central Denver. If you can find a place within a couple blocks of Cheesman Park (without being right on Colfax) I think that'd be perfect for you. Another place to look would be right around the Governor's Mansion at 8th & Pennsylvania.

agree with tfox
go to craiglist and anything that says location: city park, cheesman park, capitol hill, golden triangle, central denver, downtown (may be too $). PM me if something looks good but you aren't sure of location. I am pretty familar with city neighborhoods.

lots of apartments, mostly lower end although there are some nicer ones. Again, the only bars you'll be walking home from are Chilis... there's not much around there except for Target, Shotgun Willie's (strip club), King Soopers (grocery store), and some crappy strip malls.
I'd still go w/ the earlier recommendations.
