I happened upon this link today and I found it interesting. I reasoned others who are relocating might as well.
Denver, Colorado Hotels | Denver Real Estate | Denver Restaurants

This particular part of the site gave me a little more history on a handful of neighborhoods.

Cheers!

Thanks Lisa! These are great.

Hey I just moved here two weeks ago, which makes me an expert. Please let me know if you have questions.

Lisa,

You've probably seen this map:
http://www.bradspence.myhomecards.co...ra%20Large.jpg

It's useful in conjunction with the Denver neighborhoods info you found.

It's also useful to know the common names used for some neighborhoods. If you're looking for housing on Craigslist it's very important. For example Downtown is called the Central Business District (CBD) on street signs, and North Capitol Hill is commonly called Uptown.

Those are the two I've noticed.

Yes it is useful! Of course so is this forum once you know exactly where every neighborhood/city is (proximity of one to another) and what to search for!

It could be organized, edited and published!

Yes! I've been looking for that map. Saw in once (on this forum) then couldn't find it again. Thanks so much Mike (from back east).

Yep, I remember that now. LiveContent--the Oracle. His posts helped me immensely when I was choosing a neighborhood to move to that is walker-friendly. Ended up in Capitol Hill.

Thanks so much LiveContent. Your threads were/are invaluable for those of us without cars.
