Default Moving to Denver

Hi everyone, I will be moving to Denver in January to work in the Cherry Creek area, specifically the "Forum" bldg if your familiar, and I need some advice on where to move. I am married, my wife and I both are 25yrs old and we have a 7 month old daughter. I plan on spending about $1000 a month rent but that can be flexible if I needed to. Basically we are looking for an area that is a good place to live and safe for a small family. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you're looking for more of a suburban neighborhood I would look at highlands ranch or littleton. Personally I like the roxborough area.

I would suggest living in an area close to where you work and I would not bother with Highland neighborhood of Denver or the City of Littleton--they are just too far and would be a miserable commute.

If you are referring to the Forum Building on South Cherry Street, as your place of employment, then that would actually be in the City of Glendale, even though it has a Denver address. It is a small city enclosed by Denver. It is not a place to live for a family. I would suggest you look on Colorado, south of the I-25 interchange, and consider the neighborhoods of Denver in that location.

I would consider neighborhoods of University Hills, University Park, Hampden, Southmoor, University Hills which has some nice apartments north of Hampden. I also like areas off of Yale, off of Colorado. East on Yale is a nice rail station and actually borders nice homes that are in unincorporated Arapahoe County, surrounded by Denver, near the Goldsmith neighborhood.

Oh, eh, where are the neighborhood. Here is the link to the map http://www.denvergov.org/denvermaps/...ghborhoods.pdf

Denver is a great, safe, clean city and these neighborhoods are some of the best. Also, from these areas you will have an easier and more economical commute--you can even take public transit.
