we just moved to HR and are looking for a preschool for our almost 3 year old for the fall. she's pretty bright and rather nerdy, so we're looking for something that's academically inclined, with some structure. we're also willing to drive a ways to get there, maybe 20-25 min. A coop is fine with me too. we'd prefer a non-religious school, but are willing to do an Episcopal preschool or even a Lutheran one if necessary. Diversity of student body and teachers is a definite plus
.thanks! |

As you are willing to consider Lutheran, you can go to www.elca.org and find congregations down there. There is some icon that indicates a pre-school or day care. Some of these places do both, so don't be turned off by the term "day care", they may be flexible.

Don't know of any non-religious schools--but I can recommend lots of very solid parochial ones. |
