Default GPS users...

For those of you that commute in and around Denver, do any of you use traffic enabled GPS units? Have you found it to be a useful tool while navigating the Denver area?

Which GPS model are you using?

Thanks

Have it (GPS w/ Traffic) and it hasn't Really done anything for me or my wife. Sure, it's nice to look and see what the Guess is on delay (but it's always wrong), and one time it showed a delay of over half an hour so I turned it off and went a different route.

I hate that the thing picks a different way to get to the same place FROM the same start point at random times. Even when I don't have it pluged in (thus no traffic info).

Anyway, I won't be spending any money on the traffic updates once the free trial is over (none of the rest of the MSN direct junk is worth the $$$ either).

I use telenav on my nextel/sprint phone. Works fine. Only once did it misdirect me. It confused east and west, and directed me east. Luckily, I am smarter than my phone.

I have Telenav on my AT&T phone. Its traffic avoidance feature can take you WAY out of the way.

For instance, I used to go from the Westminster Promenade area (US 36/104th) to I-70/Tower every day. Normally, I'd go down US 36 E, to I-270 E, to I-70 E, to Tower. The phone once took me down 104th, east all the way to E-470 (on 104th ), south on E-470 to Pena, Pena to Airport Blvd, Airport Blvd to I-70 to Tower. In other words, a big unnecessary circle. No thanks.

From then on, I decided to use my own intuition when deciding to avoid traffic.
