HI:

I really love this apartment in uptown I just found, BUT...

The landlady says street parking is fine, but not having a parking basement or at least an assigned spot makes me nervous.

Does anybody live in that area [17th and Pennsylvania] and can they speak from experience about what parking is like? especially at night?

Thanks.

Penn is one of the more packed streets in the area but finding parking will not be impossible or even that hard most of the time.

Compared to Cap Hill a few blocks south parking is a breeze.

Nice location, right next to Marczyk's.

Yes it would be safe. Marczyk's is a great local grocer, although you might never make use of it as that area has a ton of great places to eat.

Also, to clear this one up for you ahead of time. Hamburger Mary's is a gay bar. The burgers are okay.
