Depends on what ages you're bringing to the movies. My daughter and I are heading for The Princess and the Frog on Sunday. Last weekend, we saw The Blind Side. So good...it's doing really well at the box office because of "word of mouth."

We saw "Everybody's Fine" last weekend. Overall, I liked it but my wife found it way too melancholy. It's advertised as a dramedy--this is rather inaccurate. There are maybe one or two moments where you'll chuckle, but that's it. Sadness permeates the film from start to finish (though it has an uplifting close). Still, I enjoyed it and it's nice to see Robert DeNiro playing off type.

I'm really looking forward to "Up in the Air" but it's still only in limited release and we'd have to drive an hour to a San Fran suburb to see it. Hopefully it will spread to a wider release next weekend.

I'm also really interested in "The Lovely Bones." The book's incredible. The movie seems to be getting mixed reviews but I'm extremely intrigued with how Jackson will interpret it.

Thank you for the advice.
Which actor is in this movie? The tittle is interesting.

The Lovely Bones who is in it?
Enjoy San Francisco!

It is, and it is a terrific movie. Without a doubt Sandra Bullock's best performance. And Tim McGraw does ok as well!

Some people might be turned off about it as it is a story of a pro football player, as it is based on factual events. But it is more than that-MUCH more! It is a story of a guy who deals with more adversity than most of us can't even fathom. I won't say anything more about it except to go see it. Trust me.

If you can not decide and end up waiting for next week, you could try Avatar (Opens thursday).

I don't think you can go wrong with a heartwarming movie like Blindside that is based on a real story.

Feel good movie for the season.
