Hi- I'm new here and would appreciate any guidance as to the main commerecial areas in the following suburbs (in particular, street intersections) that we may visit this weekend (the purpose of which is to see if we are interested in moving from IL):

1) Centennial
2) Cherry Creek
3) Highlands Ranch
4) Littleton
5) Greenwood Village
6) Broomfield
7) Any others we should hit?

Thanks for your help-

Main drags of each city (centers of commerce)

Centennial --- Arapahoe Road from Broadway to Centennial Airport
and County Line Road from Broadway to Interstate 25/Park Meadows Mall
Littleton/Englewood/so.Denver --- Broadway from C-470 to Interstate 25
Highlands Ranch --- Highlands Ranch Parkway from Santa Fe Dr to University
and Quebec St
Cherry Creek area of Denver --- University from Alameda to 1st.
and 1st from University to Colorado Blvd
Greenwood Village --- none / don't know
Broomfield --- state highway 128 / 120th Ave eastward from U.S. 36

I would also suggest using Google Maps, Satellite View w/ labels on. Look for big box stores on the Satellite near the areas I mentioned.

Littleton's main drag is a couple of miles West of Broadway. From the corner of S. Broadway and Littleton Blvd, head west. It will eventually turn into W Main Street and from there you can loop around and see the downtown which is referred to as Old Littleton. You can also get there from Santa Fe but since you want to see more of Denver, Broadway is the best option.

main commercial areas in Highlands Ranch are Highlands Ranch Parkway between Broadway and Lucent ("Town Center"); and corner of HR Pkwy and University.

There is a new outdoor shopping area in Centennial that replaced an old mall. That is on University between Dry Creek and Arapahoe (someone correct me if I got those streets wrong)

There is commercial stuff all along County Line Road.

The Park Meadows area at C-470 and I25 is a huge retail area. It has a mall and is surrounded by big box stores and strip malls. This is in the city of Lone Tree.

Davros has a pretty good list. If you hit Parker(SE of Cherry Creek, E of Highlands Ranch), Parker Rd is the main drag pretty much all the way down with some action on Mainstreet as well.

In addition to what Davros posted about Broomfield, there is FlatIron Crossing Mall in the Interlocken area.
