I’m looking to get away from that mentality. Thoughts?
I don't see too much of the "Outdoors" as a way of life around here. Some people, yes, but most, no. I wouldn't even consider the Broncos a way of life around here.

The first one. Definitely not the second one.

But anyway, are Denver girls pretty smart? Because smart girls make Gigantor arise. ARISE! ARISE!
Meh.

That's exactly what you find here.

Yes, actually you'd probably be surprised at how many Raider fans there are here. Some of them even wear Raiders garb in the off-season.

Do I have this straight? You are choosing the place you are going to relocate to by the ratio of women to men?

If so, the best ratio one could find would be 53:47, which roughly translates to 1:1: LOL.

I think that's perfectly valid. Smart, even.

It's a valid question to know what it is. If the ratio of men to women was 75-25, I'm not sure I'd want to join in that particular party. 53-47 isn't that big of a difference, I think I'd have a fighting chance to meet a local woman meeting my preferences in that case.

What would be much more helpful would be to know the ratio of single, straight males 35-45 to the ratio of single, straight females 35-45 (in my case, at least). That would be a great barometer for someone like me, but it's probably not published. Phone numbers, of course, would help even more

The census didn't tabulate sexual orientation in 2000, but here's something:

Denver Metro, total males (35-44) 2000: 226,263
Denver Metro, total females (35-44) 2000: 222,170

Minus the ones now married, males: 74,366 single dudes
Minus the ones now married, females: 69,544 single women

52:48, or 1:1. However, we don't know how many of these men and women are gay, but it probably balances out nonetheless.
