Hi everyone. We flew out to Denver/Aurora on a house hunting trip this past week. We found a house for rent in Denver. I will be working in Aurora.

So my question is, are there city income taxes for Denver or Aurora? I will be checking the Colorado.gov type sites as well, but I figured I'd ask while I'm thinking of it.

We really enjoyed our trip out to Denver. So much in fact, that we didn't want to leave, to return to Virginia Beach. We feel Colorado is a much better fit for us, and our lifestyle.

Thanks, and looking forward to getting out there!

Since my job is based in Aurora, I get about $2 taken out of every paycheck (if that's what you are asking).

yes, that is what I was asking. If we have to pay city income tax for Aurora (where I will work),
or Denver (where we will live), or both. And the percentage.
$2? Dang. I need a better paying job...

It sounds like we pay Aurora city income tax.

Thanks David.
