Is this possible? It's so tough to gauge without making the trip, and I'm broke so that tough. Seems like a lot of places on craigslist for that amount, but of course, it's craigslist.

Thoughts?

I don't know of any specific complexes in littleton but you may be able to find one.
There's a complex near where I live that is having a $495 1-bedroom special, but this is in Southeast Denver. It doesn't seem like a roach-infested mess and might be worth a look if you are flexible with location.

Is there a reason that Littleton is the focus?

Shouldn't be a problem, particularly if you're just talking about a 1br.

I don't understand why you'd want to move if you're broke. How are you going to put deposits down? Where are you living now?

Are you going to be living by yourself? If you had a roommate you could find a nicer $800/mnth place and save $200 bucks/mnth.

I don't think Colorado even really has roaches. I haven't seen one yet, anyway.

There certainly are roaches in Colorado - just not in the abundance you see elsewhere (which is true of most insects - the climate and altitude makes it hard for large populations to form in many cases).
