Question Best central location?

My husband and I are moving to Denver next summer. It's a long time from now, I know, but we like to do our research and plan ahead. We are currently living in the Virgin Islands, but we are originally from Wisconsin. It is very likely that neither of us will have a job lined up when we first get there. Just planning on saving up a few months salary. I could potentially end up working anywhere from Westminster to Highlands Ranch. It just depends on where the openings are at the time. We will be living in a furnished apartment for the first 3-6 months when we arrive, since we obviously won't be shipping a lot of belongings from the island, it's way too expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions about a centrally located area around Denver, where it is relatively easy to get to any area? We do not have kids so we don't care about schools, family-oriented neighborhoods, or anything like that. We are in our early 30s with two cats. Thanks for any input!

I would look at anything from Hampden Ave (285) to I-70 - just to get started. Something close to light rail/I-25 to make things easy until you found where you will be working.

Thanks, that helps me feel a little less overwhelmed. Does anyone know of any clean and safe apartment complexes in that area? Something furnished just for a few months?
