I would say Florida also has many more "players" than Denver.

I would say this is a very true statement. When I lived in Fort Meyers,
i was the classic nice guy. To put it bluntly, I never got any tail.
Women down in that neck of the woods really seem to be drawn to
the players of which there were many. Here in Denver, I find it much easier to find woman interested
in my personality type, which is essentially spending time outdoors, going to
coffee shops, and Rockies games.

look around the forum. look at census data (for various age groups). google around. look at match.com at what you tend to find (and the ratios). you'll see there are many more single men than single women in and around denver. there is also census data showing that there are many more "never married" guys than "never married" women. and there are many more divorced/widowed women than divorced/widowed men in denver proper. it's all online.

as for quality, wouldn't know - not in the market for single men. i would say that there are many single women that seem interested in the house, the car, the job, the ski condo, the "look", the broncos game (or the rockies!! game) - not as diverse as some other places; somewhat middle american, mostly, as far as i can see, though there are plenty of latinos that don't seem to be well mixed with the middle american population (of course there are a few exceptions). looks a little that way across the population, but, not sure.

if that sounds good to you, then yes, there are a lot of good guys in denver. to move to a place specifically for that seems a little like a good way to set up for disappointment, but, then again, maybe not.

good luck.

I have never heard the expression, trade up, but it makes sense. I know the types of
guys you have in South Florida. These jerks and bad boys appeal to a lot of women.
I do not think we have as many of those types here. The outdoor lifestyle rules in
Denver, which requires a different kind of man compared to the lifestyle of south Florida.
Honestly, I think in colorado you will find a more substantial man, someone more likely
to have an education, political views, and so on. Whether or not any of these guys
are what you consider hot or dateable, I have no idea. Having lived in South Florida,
I also know that black men are in huge demand, which is probably what you are referring to when you say, dating up. It's not the same culture here.
So I assume you mean to date a black man would be to "date down". Thanks for the plug.

Yes, with some exceptions.

As a single guy that is 34 years old, all I find are women with kids and expensive divorces. I am divorced myself, however our split was amicable. I have the same question, were obviously just not hanging out in the right places!

You have to find a woman in another state and bring her back with you, otherwise you'll be stuck with baggage. Keep an eye on her though - 'bunch of vultures out there might swoop down and take your gold.
