I have a quite few friends that are single with no kids and a couple friends with a ex-wife and a kid or two.
Have you visited the Denver area before?

This was actually a big reason that I moved away from Denver (or, should I say, MENver). It earns that nickname rightfully. The sex ratio there was way off. The ratio may seem even more exaggerated than it actually is, though, since a good percentage of the women who do live there look like men. If you're a guy in Denver, in many cases the women are your competition!

I don't know what problem you guys are having. Everytime I go to a bar in Denver, I usually end up taking someone home with me.
The girl ratio is MUCH higher in Denver than here in COS. There's alot of girls here, but most of them are unnatractive or overweight. (please don't flame me, i'm just not into that)

Do they at least shave their legs, though? That'd be an improvement over most of the ones I saw in Denver, LOL! Sorry, but I find the whole granola-ey "mountain" look on females to be completely repulsive. Maybe some dudes dig it- I don't.

I sure don't either man. OF course, maybe when I go to Denver, I usually end up in a strip club, so perhaps my view of women is skewed.

If you're 'newly divorced', shouldn't 'dating' be the last thing on your mind to do? Why not just move to Denver for adventure and change of pace? I'm always blown away by people who are ready to jump from one relationship to another. It screams desperation or someone who just isn't capable of living a moment of their lives alone.
Anyway, there are decent men in Denver. As a decent man myself without kids, drama, and makes a decent living for himself as a self-employed individual, I am definitely the last guy in Denver that women are after. I'm pretty mellow, laid back and live life to my own beat. I haven't a clue of what women are interested in these days and I don't really care, because I know dating these days is very unrealistic.

Us good guys are out there, single, never married, have a career, have dental plans, car, etc. But I think we all are wondering the same thing... Where do we need to go to find all these woman that are looking for us?
The really nice guys aren't going to approach you at a bar. We're there to hang out with our friends, you're there hanging out with your friends, so how do we breech the estrogen-zone?
I remember when I lived in Summit County there was a poll taken by the Summit Daily about the best places in the county to find woman (back when it was literally 80% men up there). Number 1 place was City Market, number 2 was Target. I tried to find the poll on their site, but it was years ago.
So maybe we all need to make more trips to the supermarket and actually start talking to each other in line? Since we are all thinking "well the gas to get to the store is going to be outrageous if we go everyday".... just stop at whatever grocery store is between work and your house. After all, if you meet someone there, it's not going to be a big deal to meet up for dinner after work one day.
Anyway, I think we are all in the same boat... how and where do all us singles need to go to meet now? We all know it's not like when we were in college were there's a few thousand unmarried "potentials" in your age group always within a half mile radius.

Alaska is mostly men, yes??HA!
I got the last best, no kids, great brains and brawn (yes, I'm into that) never been married before guy on the planet!!! Soooo....you're out of luck! JK...don't everyone flame me like Ryan!!!! Just kidding Ryan,..we will meet someday in the Springs I'm sure!!
I am from Colorado,...I just moved back here in March after living in Florida for a year. Although I am married, my sister (who lives in Daytona Beach) isn't. We were around each other ALL of the time...going out, diving, etc.
I didn't notice how different the guys were. I guess it just depends, huh?
One does need to look pretty darned good in shorts though!! Good thing I'm married!!!
My sister had guys half her age bugging her and, everyone in between!! I guess it just depends on what you are looking for.
I personally would look for someone with nice teeth! Yes, I said it!!
If their teeth are gross, it's a NO GO no matter what they have going for them!!
I cannot comment on whether guys in Florida or Colorado have the better dental hygiene though!!
I also agree on the grocery store for meeting. If that doesn't work then, think of what place that guys HAVE to frequent to live/!!! Maybe the Auto Parts stores. Don't laugh!!!!!
You will be fine no matter where you chose to live. It's just GEOGRAPHY, isn't it?????
