I have a ton of items I wanna get rid of (furniture, cookware, clothes etc.)

There's a goodwill center on Arapahoe. But I'm a lazy bum. Anyone knows if Goodwill can help move things from my house?

I can deliver clothes and cookware, but there are some items which will probably have me all buggered if I were to move them.

Any other center like Goodwill?? Thoughts?

Disabled American Veterans, the Lupus Foundation, and ARC will all be thrilled to come to you and pick up items. All great causes & tax deductible.

If you take a picture and post it on Craigs List, it will be gone in no time and the person who wants it will do the moving. No tax deduction though.

Yep I get called by these places all the time that they would be coming on our street for pickups.

But they won't go into the op's house and bring them out I don't think.

As far as I know, they will pick it all up for you. That's one of the things they use their big trucks for.

Last time I tried to give some furniture to DAV they came up decided they didn't want it and left (and it wasn't bad condition at all). I gave it to ARC and they took it but it had to be in the driveway (if it was even in the garage they wouldn't take it). Some might go into a house to get some but DAV and ARC weren't among them at least last I checked.

That has been my experience as well.
