Help. What should I expect?
The cost of living in California is killing me. I make a real good living with a very good job, but I am just scraping by on one income so my wife can raise our two kids. I am a high rise/multi family construction manager. The kind of manager that would build high rise loft condos in down town Denver. Will I be able to feed my family? My wife is a Co native and we have plenty of family in the metro area so we are only a partial transplant.

You can snap up one of our many foreclosures for way less than you'd pay in CA. The cost of living is lower, but you should google it to see by how much.

I would look up job ads and also call construction companies in the area and inquire about salary levels. In my experience Colorado pays much less compared to CA in the construction field but with the lower cost of housing it might still be more affordable to live here. Good Luck!
