Hi..
We are thinking of moving and Highlands Ranch is one of the areas we are looking into. The realtor found a nice home on Deer Creek st. but she states it's a income restricted property and I am wondering if anyone has any information about this area or why it's that way. We have two young sons and are trying to find a nice school for our oldest due to he has ADHD and the school he is in now (Morrison, CO) is just not good from him. Any information would be much appreciated and thanks for any and all help.

I don't know of any income/deed restricted properties in Douglas County. It looks like it's HUD owned. Call the elementary school.

Douglas County, just like any other county, participates in programs that generate income/deed restricted properties. The county may be wealthier but there are many programs for those who have less resources to qualify for housing. In addition, there are programs to help developers built housing for a diverse economic population.
