Default Commute from Castle Rock to Greenwood Village

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the average commute is like from Castle Rock to Greenwood Village? We are not quite sure where in Castle Rock yet, but just an average time would be great. Also, is the commute from Parker to Greenwood Village any better?

WE also, were origianlly looking to buy in CR but we were also concerned about the commute. It sounded like the coming into/out of CR from I-25 was pretty gnarly.

They are in the process of widening I-25 through Castle Rock, but even prior to this project the commute was not bad. The worst areas are NOT I-25, they are getting from I-25 to Founders and Castlewood along Founders Parkway. It is rare to hit stop and go traffic along I-25 until you get north of County Line Road. Barring accidents, during rush hour you will normally maintain a speed above 45 mph for most of the drive.

The commute isn't too bad since all the recent widening I-25 has been through. You get 5 lanes going north from County Line which have improved the commute significantly. The problem you will find, however, is where you lose the lanes. There are normally bottlenecks heading south at lincoln and then again as you approach founders. However, its mostly slow and go and not stop and go. As BenWolfe mentioned, they are widening I-25 from founders to Wilcox. This should help clear up the bottleneck coming down the hill from happy canyon if you get off at founders parkway. Im sure if you keep going, youll just hit the bottleneck moved a couple miles south. They are also planning to add an additional lane from c-470 to founders after the widening in Castle Rock is finished.
