Hi,

Can you recommend any downtown rental properties of quality and that is safe and affordably priced? Location should be near shopping, supermarket, park, activities and especially transportation, etc.

Appreciate your input.

I guess to begin, you would have to define affordable. Secondly, your criteria is a pretty tall order. The shopping that exists downtown is not really near the supermarket. You would also have to define activities. Are you talking about dance clubs, bars, theater, or something else. There are a couple of parks, but they are not the safest parks around. Civic Center Park is home to a lot of drug users/dealers. Transportation abounds, but where will you be going?

I'm gonna say look in Capitol Hill. It's pretty centrally located to a lot of the requirements and, imo, pretty safe (so long as one has a good head on their shoulders, but that applies to any downtown location, anywhere). Cheeseman park is nice during the day.

It will be hard to get a good answer if you don't get a bit more specific - all those factors need to be prioritized, I think!

The closest area to Downtown that would resemble what you are seeking would be Capitol Hill. Need more info to direct you to apartment types.
