Car insurance will be a quarter of what you pay in South Florida. We have 2 cars with full coverage and we pay 45 dollars a month total for both

That depends on company among other things. You can shop around though.

Car registration is known to be somewhat high in Iowa. It is a tax heavy state if that's what you're asking.

Wow.... That is amazing! How about the gas prices, how are those? I'm excited about the gas prices. As for property taxes, any ideas?

Yes... the 3 major taxes compared to Florida. Sales Tax, Property Tax and Income Tax?

Property taxes vary but I say roughly 3000.00 a year depending on the area. Gas right now just went up to 3.49 but a week to two weeks ago it was 3.29

Winters can be brutal so just prepare to shovel and take your time driving

How about the Snow thing.... Talk to me about the MUST haves! For example, I'm not planning to move into a house, I will rather live in a apartment. Why? all of the maintenance.... specially the snow plowing.

I want to make sure the snow is plowed when I'm off to work. Do you know where there is a neighborhood where this is done very well? Do I need a heated GARAGE or climate controlled ?
