Just because YOU think someone's opinions are correct doesn't mean they're factual statements.

Del Taco?

THere is a Del Taco in Michigan?

My kids will be so happy. Where is this?

That one is in Roseville right on Gratiot, I saw it the other day. I went to their website and there are apparently locations at Clawson, Dearborn Heights and 2 locations in Warren.

As noted above, there's a Del Taco right at 14 Mile/Crooks (Clawson) and on Telegraph just north of Ford Rd (Dearborn H) - though I find Taco Bell's 5 layer burritos to be the divine 2AM feast...

My wife and I lived on Del Taco for a couple of weeks when we first moved to California. We were broke and only had the change tha she had thrown into the bottom of her purse during college to get us through until I got my first check and she go a job. Del Taco had a special Two tacos and a coke for $1. One taco and a coke was dinner for almost two weeks. I brought home those soup envelopes from the office to supplement. Since I was new, people took me to lunch a lot and I brought leftovers home. If it was nto for the Del Taco sale, we would have starved.

Anyway, living in CA, our kids loved Del Taco and hated Taco Bell. they were unhappy to learn that there was no Del Taco, no Carls Jr. and no In & Out in Michigan. Not thy will be 1/3 of the way happy. However it is a long drive.

Actually, there are Del Tacos in Detroit, and two Hardees (which is the Midwest/East Coast equivalent of Carl Jrs.).

And Five Guys is very similar to In & Out, which is now also all over Detroit.

Detroit is no longer the fast food desert it once was (With only the cliche-ish McDonalds, Taco Bell, White Castle, Wendy's, Arby's and Burger King).

Oh I'm sorry, my "Detroit" = Metro Detroit.

I thought I've made that clear before.

Where are the Hardees? I thought that they stopped at the Indiana Border. They are not quite the same. They do not sell the Western Bacon Cheesburger, or the $6 burger. At least not last time I went to one.

Is there a del taco downriver? I have never seen one.

If there is, I am surprised that my kids have not found it. They have a Del Taco radar.

I've seen a few. The one I can recall exactly is on 15 and Mound. I remember when it used to be a Burger King or something and it was closed for a few months before it opened as a Hardees.
