The good news: I have a job interview later this week. (After applying to over 200 openings, it's finally nice to be getting somewhere.)

The bad news: I can't find a babysitter for my toddlers. All three people I was relying on to babysit for me are busy that day. (Talk about Murphy's Law. )

I've been calling up daycare places in my area to see if they have a drop-in service, but no dice so far. I've seen other areas, like Grand Rapids and South Lyons, that have drop-in daycare providers. Does anyone know of a place in the metro Detroit area? Anything off of I-696 from I-94 to I-75 would be great, but I am willing to drive further.

Did you check Katie's Kids in Royal Oak on Lafayette? We had 2 kids there for years, and we absolutely LOVED them. If you can go with her, let me know.

I appreciate the info. I already called to cancel the interview, though.
