What are your plans for New Years Eve? parties? church? family gatherings? I'm just interested in what everyone is doing in the city/Metro for NYE.

For me, I think I may go to U.Me.Drink or somewhere else downtown

I'm also open to suggestions

I'll be staying off the roads to avoid all the drunk drivers.

This: NYE Ball Drop-Downtown Detroit (Campus Martius)

EDIT: You do not need to buy tickets to the event to watch the ball drop from Campus Martius. The ice rink will also be open past midnight.
