I'm vacationing in Windsor and wonder if anyone can tell me where to find outlet malls in Detroit as near as possible to the bridge? Looking for back to school items and clothes for the family. Many thanks.

Jump on I-75 and head to Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills or Somerset in Troy. There are malls closer Im sure, such as Eastland (stay far away!) but the farther you get from Detroit, the shopping usually gets better

Great Lakes Crossing is technically an outlet mall, but in actuality it is more like a standard mall. The children's place outlet there does have great prices. For true outlet shopping, the closest place I can think of is birch run which would be about a hour and a half from downtown Detroit.
