Muer Sea food (Joe Meur?) is reopeneing. It will be in the ren cen where seldom blues used to be. It is owned and operated by the Andiamos people. I have been listening to the staff classes as I walk by on my way out each night. They must have hired more than 100 people. The classes are huge. It is fairly sophisticated training. They are now doing pre-openeing charity events. I grabbed a menu. It is high end sea food looks like about $75 per persont typically with soup or salad and entree. Entrees average about $40 -45 some up to $75, some under $30. They have been really working hard at remodeling the Seldom Blues Location. I cannto tell how nice it is.

Someone with a lot of extra money please go eat there and tell us how it is.

Better go early. With those prices I do not see it being around for long...I never thought the original Muer's was worth much more than $15 a plate.

people will eat there, especially if it gets a buzz. Price is not a factor to many. Detroit people spend that much and more at suburban restaurants (ie Benihana, Ruth Chris, Andiamos etc) also some places in the city (Iridescence, Marios, Roast etc). People are followers, once a good ten people brag about it, it might be line out the door
