I was blessed to see Mitch Albom's play "Ernie", about the beloved Tigers' broadcaster Ernie Harwell, at the City Theatre (next to The Fox) last night. It was shown as a fundraiser for Hospice of Michigan. I HIGHLY recommend this play to anyone who remembers the "good old days" when Ernie was "King".

This play was first performed in 2011. If it is continuing in 2012 (I'm not sure if this was a one time showing just for Hospice), you Ernie Harwell/Tigers' fans of "old" have got to see this play. You will NOT be disappointed!

Wasn't Ernie Harwell was the only broadcaster who was traded to another team?
