The Fiesta is neat. Not fond of Mexican assembly (I'm anti-NAFTA) but neat car otherwise. Nice color palette. When I was in Vegas last month, I could have had a lime green one had I been to the garage five minutes earlier. (Got a Crown Vic instead and loved it.) Go easy on the options list as the well-equipped ones are way too much for such a small car.

Michigan dealership hours suck. I'd actually consider buying my next car in Ohio, where they're open Sunday, IIRC.

.
I ran into the same thing with Dodge a few years back. They had a too good to be true lease on a Ram truck a few years back. You had have a certain type of Chrysler employee discount with a leased Dodge vehicle that had a year still to go on the lease and some other qualification. The salesman siad his uncle worked forChrysler and could get me the employee discount but I still did not qualify for the $250/month advertised price. With his uncles discount it would be about $450/ month.

Another time went to GM with an ad. Small print says must have GM empployee discount - Ah HA! Dad worked for GM. Got that covered. Nope. He had to be an hourly employee not salaried. Only hourly employees could get the advertised discounted rate. Of course no hourly employee could afford the vehicle I was looking at.

The hours really surprised me. In California every dealership was open on weekends and late at night. They had spot lights and those wiggly inflatebles, free hot dogs, free pumpkins at Halloween, pony rides, bounce houses, anything to get people in. Here, you basically have to take a day off just to look at a car and you had better have an appointment or you may end up wiating for hours. It is funny. (Odd funny, not ha ha funny).

I think the lousy dealership hours are some sort of a blue law. I just went to a couple OH dealer websites I know off the top of my head and Sunday hours are common.

I've never been to Gorno, but my friend bought a truck a year ago and started there. Bad news. Gave him the run around.. .."oh we lost your truck in shipping, but we have this one and it's only $10,000 more!"

IMO, go to Atchinson Ford in Belleville.
