Default Taxes in Holly, MI

I was inquiring about a house listing in Holly, MI. Me and my girlfriend loved the house, the location and the sub-division. It matched our criteria, (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, garage and basement) and seemed like our house hunting was nearing the end. However, after researching the taxes in the area, we decided the payment was out of our range. We have a combined income of $80,000 and both have a college degree. Who is buying Holly? Who can afford these taxes? Is it because its in a Village? Any good mortgage companies that offer and low rate, low closing costs and 100% financing? Help me please! We want this house! Thanks in advance.
