Ok so I recently became interested in the Eye neighborhood of Detroit and decided to look at on google maps before I take the long trek west lol and came a home with a HUGE old english D painted on the front lawn (home is actually in 5 points neighborhood not the Eye). Here is the link

I just thought it was hilarious and it caught my attention. Thought I'd share it with you all. Ever find anything crazy on google maps?

I'm not seeing it, but damn - I lived in that building on McNichols and Wormer. It was called Woodbine Apartments.

I think it's the one with the red truck and boat in the driveway. It looks like something white painted on the lawn in the shape of it so I'm guessing that's it. One time I seen the works "fu*k you" on the roof of a row house or apartment building in St. Louis. Just randomly there lol.

I think that map tag is in totally the wrong place. Any more clues?

I once ran across a "school of ballet" in the middle of a state game area. A diversion for hunters, or a mislabel? Don't know.

Man! I guess google went through and reshot Detroit. I had found this guy on Jefferson at Rosa Parks with this older Jeep Cherokee...lol.....ah man. It had the radiator mounted on the OUTSIDE of the grill, the entire bottom was rotted out, he had what looked like some sort of farm/tractor looking serated blade as a rear bumper, a wooden rear window, no tail lights, but replaced them with the tail lights and turn signals you'd put on a small trailer, and a plastic rear passenger window. Oh, and the rear hatch was held shut with bungee cords. LMAO

Then, further west on Jefferson, I started seeing maybe 3 cabs parked to the side of the road. As the car comes up, they're all standing there, seeming curious about what's approaching. When the google car passes by and you look back, they're all hiding behind their cabs! LMAO!!

And now, upset that surly my second example up there would be gone with the re-do.............

NOPE! It got WORSE!

Ever wonder why you can't get a cab in the city?
