I was just there half an hour ago. A lot of new restaurants popping up. I first saw Angelinos on Thursday (last week). It looks nice, but there were only two customers when I went by there I hope they do better at other times.

I hope that building gets renovated, but it may be a while with the brownfield money all gone.

Thanks Now I know the name of that building

In the Google picture Broderick is all ripped up and under construction. That is funny given it is now fully rented out and really nice looking.

The Book Tower is located on the cross streets of Washington Blvd. and Grand River. It's located right next to Detroit City Apartments and close to the Book Cadillac. It's so beautiful but sadly vacant. I see it every day because I live at DCA.

I guess DCA had a change of management recently? It used to be called Washington Square Apartments. Unfortunately, I think DCA detracts a lot of value from the Book Tower. It used to have an unobstructed view to the North overlooking a low-rise building before the DCA was built with a rather unattractive facade facing the Book Tower.

DCA is owned by Village Green - the same companies who own the sprawling Village Green complexes in Troy, Harrison Twp etc. They recently purcahsed the Millender Center. The apartments are newly renovated and 5,000 times better than when it was Washington Square/Trolley Square.
