Maybe Detroit could hold a telethon to raise the money they need! I am sure lots of people would donate to such a good cause ; )

Bing tried the FIREMAN for a day fundraiser. Figured with all the fires, other departments might send idle firemen to the city to sharpen their fire fighting skills if they did not have enough fires in their hometown.

I believe there were NO takers for the FIREMAN-for-a-DAY program. Now there might be some interest in being MEDICAL EXAMINER-for-a-DAY. Maye even CITY CLOWNCIL for a day?
