FBI Tipster Says Jimmy Hoffa Went the Way of Fargo - YouTube

At this point, I'd just already accept that the mafia is good at making people disappear and would leave it at that.

Good yes - also how could a guy like Hoffa allow himself to be suckered.

I doubt they would spend $200,000 digging up someones yard looking for my body on a random unconfirmed tip if I disappeared. Frankly I hope they would not waste $20. If I am missing for 38 years, I am dead. Leave me be. Let my family move on.

Good point, first someone has to actually realize you are missing.

I think he's under my floor. Yeah that's right. Please search now and I can have Lowes do a new wood floor for .99/ sq. ft for labor and save the govt lots of money on the install.

Jimmy Hoffa may have done some good in his early years, but by the time he disappeared, he had sold his soul to the Mob and was as dirty as the Mississippi River. So were the Teamsters. He must have been naïve or arrogant if he thought he wouldn't come to a bad end. I am curious as to why the Mob would "disappear" him instead of leaving his body to be found as they did with most victims.
