DBC does nothing with Cutco, selling coupons, DISH network, or anything like that.

Please post FACTS. They work with Comcast Business on a lead based business to business campaign. Base + options.

Thanks

And may I ask what's your position at Detroit Business Consulting/Fiducia Marketing/Turner Enterprises/K Marketing/NARS Group?

Are you "Elizabeth", the one desperate but unsuspecting candidates must speak with to get this "job?"

BTW, if you're still not convinced OP, please Google search "Cydcor scam."

After a series of phone tag with the secretary I finally scheduled an interview. She never really told me what
I would be doing and that was a red flag, really. Then she told me that I would have to call the next day, instead of them calling me for the interview. I had a final that day and didn't bother to call them. It just seemed like a waste of time tbh. I do appreciate them showing interest in me, however, but I don't think it was right for me.

I interviewed with DBC and was offered a second interview before I left. The situation was so sketchy I felt sick about it, I never went back. When I came, there were 10 other people there waiting for an interview who were obviously not serious job candidates. They seem to offer everybody the second interview, where you get in a car with someone, drive to a neighborhood, and go door to door selling coupons for no pay since it's an "interview"-- this is what they told me at my interview in 2011. The very first thing they ask you when you walk in the door is to provide your social security number, then they ask you what you like to do for fun, and then they send you on your way. A big red flag-- there are only like two offices and a reception space in their suite, there is nowhere for you-- that is because you will be out pounding the pavement and will never be there. That, and there is an xbox in the waiting room, and the receptionist will make it a point to tell you how excited she is that they are all going to a Tigers game later.

I am glad you didn't bother. It's a waste of your time. You will find on your job hunts that there are a LOT of companies built on the same model as DBC, and a lot of them are actually the same company under different names. I agree about googling Cydcor scam.

I would recommend doing research before throwing lies out there trolls.

DBC doesn't work with Cydcor, they left them.

Fiducia Marketing/Northern Business Consulting, Turner Enterprises, Merlin Group, K Inc, Robins Nest Consulting (stupid Name) etc.. work with Cydcor. Check out their photos on facebook, all the same, fat people, etc..

I wouldn't expect losers online to really understand but I would do some basic research.

DBC is a MLM. Who they are associated with is irrelevant. I personally don't like MLMs, the model isn't for me. I went to DBC's office in Troy for an interview, which lasted all of 15 minutes. They were doing mass interviews. I didn't know it was a MLM until I got there, then it became pretty evident.

If you're sales oriented, DBC could very well be for you. Usually companies like this hire fresh-faced college grads to walk around neighborhoods selling whatever services they are contracted to sell. They'll hire just about anybody who's not a dolt. If that's something you'd enjoy doing, then check out DBC.

Default MLM=pyramid. Think Amway.

From Wikipedia: (a good enough definition for me, in this case):

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of the other salespeople that they recruit. This recruited sales force is referred to as the participant's "downline", and can provide multiple levels of compensation. Other terms used for MLM include pyramid selling, network marketing, and referral marketing.

That reminds me of my first year post college when I was waiting tables at a casual dining restaurant, applying for every office job under the sun, poor as a church mouse. One night a gorgeous girl who was about my age (at the time) and a well dressed middle age man sat at my table, ordered lots of drinks, chatted me up, and as they were leaving told me to show up somewhere the next day for an awesome job opportunity. I drove there, thinking mostly of the cute girl of course, sat around with 20 or 30 other pigeons in a non-descript office park waiting area. As soon as the ring leader walked in and started handing out binders to everyone, explaining how they charged $250 to train people to work on their sales team, that was pretty demoralizing.
