At one point they said it did not feel "safe" to ski at what looks like Community Hospital there on Michigan so they went to the burbs and did some skiing, water skiing and such. One shot looks like the closed / abandoned Pontiac Central High School.

Regardless of where each part of the filming took place, I enjoyed the results. Those are some athletic, creative young guys.

It's too bad that it cost a lot of money to build a ski hill. I think one in Detroit would be awesome to overlook the skyline.
