Anyone remember anything about the Pelican Club?

We have a breakfast nook in our house that is made of church pews that were purchased from the Pelican Club and later sold to us.

The Pelican club is no more. I like to know everything that I can about every part of our house. Can anyone tell me anything about the Pelican Club, or better yet which church their pews came from?
