Honestly, I don't know how ANYONE who has followed this team for 10 or more years can be surprised by the failures of this franchise - or expect anything different.

I've always been a Lions fan but I never really watched football until recently when the Lions went to the playoffs. Now it's probably my favorite sport, maybe even more so than basketball. The Lions were a good team to watch a couple of years ago. This has been the same for over 10 years??? omg , I'm glad I was only 10 years old back then.

10 years?? Haha...try 56 years!! Exactly one playoff win in 5 decades. Get out now while you're still sane.

9/24 Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers

1st quarter (Detroit 7 pts, Green Bay 7 pts):
Lions (TD): D. Carey 40 yd fumble return
Packers (TD): A. Quarless 10 yd pass from A. Rodgers

2nd quarter (Detroit 5 pts):
Lions (SFTY): E. Lacy tackled in end zone by D. Levy for a safety
Lions (FD): N. Freeze 30 yd field goal

3rd quarter (no score from either team)

4th quarter (Detroit 7 pts)
Lions (TD): R. Bush 26 yd run

Final Score: Detroit 19, Green Bay, 7

Decent game. Were still missing field goals and Jim Cadwell did not look happy about that. The turnovers also need to stop, 2 interceptions thrown.

Auther: one playoff win in 50 years??? wtf!?!?

Y'know, they did OK today - gave up a measly seven points and with a depleted secondary. So much for the "experts" who were favoring the Pack in a high-scoring game.
However there were costly turnovers, and GB missed quite a few passes. I wonder if it was due to the defense keeping Rodgers off his game (one of the announcers said as much).

Defense has been doing their job and Aaron Rodgers did look kind of pissed .

The more pissed, the better imo.
"Experts" are now saying that the Lions can't play well on grass, so I guess we need to find that out.

Welp... they fired the kicker. They picked up Alex Henry from Philly.
