Blacks in Livonia

I have a job possibility in Livonia...I am from Southfield originally (back in the 50s, though), but have been living in California since. Has anything changed in 50 years??.. just kidding, really...just trying to get a feel for what to expect....I'm a white male in my 50s if that matters...no family.....and how about some of that white trash on COPS...haha

I have never been a member nor advocate of the Nation of Islam. I do respect them and feel they've served a good purpose.
I do not subscribe to stereotypes nor am I racist so don't get it twisted.
"Black Power" is and has always been about black empowerment, which involves having the same opportunities afforded to others to succeed. To be impowered is to have the ability to pursue happiness, wealth and success without restrictions based soley on colour, ethnicity, race, class, or other such classifications. Comments I make are based on historical data and facts. I do not seek to asess blame or distort the facts-it is what it is. Detroit was destined to fall eventually, because of the unstable foundation it was established on and it's corrupt political culture. I am hopeful of it's future success.
