Default Bank One and LaSalle

Bank One and LaSalle (or have they changed their name again?) seem to be doing a lot of new construction in the area, so it looks like they're committed to the area. TCF used to do a lot of building, but then stopped, so they seem to be bailing out on the community.

Talking Flagstar Business Banking

It just shows how Flagstar wants to continue to invest in Michigan, Citizens is also expanding many of it's branches, at least from what I see.
Actually Citizens Bank is headquartered in Sandusky, Ohio, not Flint, Michigan.

Flagstar does offer business banking for small and large businesses. They offer many free online services for business accounts and it makes me wish i had a business because it's pretty cool. My boyfriend's aunt uses Flagstar for their business banking and they love them. They also are partnered with the credit card company people...not exactly sure how it works but you should definitely ask. Go check out the website: Flagstar Bank

They have a free business checking account as well as others if you will have a higher balance. Flagstar is actually opening up a lot of new branches this year...not exactly sure how many, but I know they're constantly hiring and it'll say like "new branch" next to the listing and stuff.

In my area there is a lot of new Chase Bank branches being built, 2 new branches in the last few months. Is Chase wanting to put roots into Michigan or are they just trying to collect some deposits.

Probably not the most convenient for you, but Peoples State Bank is based in Michigan.
