This is one of the funniest threads I've ever read!

Very simply, there are pockets of Detroit, especially downtown, which are nice...I'd say 10% of the city is nice, even REALLY nice...

Another 10% is okay/iffy.

And 80% looks like the videos of the ghetto. I drive through it 5 or 6 days per week and not just through one little area. Most of it is not fit for humans. It is not safe. But, if you are VERY selective and look downtown, it IS possible to find a place and really enjoy the area immediately around you.

The city of Detroit covers 138 square miles. Roughly the same size as the city of Atlanta, GA or Mesa, AZ. But about half the businesses in Detroit are boarded up and there are many blocks that have no standing houses anymore.

If you are NOT familiar with Detroit and want to move here, play it safe and move downtown or move outside of Detroit.

Here are some people fighting over a 40 ouncer of beer in a typical Detroit neighborhood. Notice the small child running around.

YouTube - dikes vs drunk (detroit)

Quality people just like this can be found in over 50% of the city, but there are also many well-educated people who possess class as well. Like 10-20%. 48% of Detroit is illiterate. The politicians are as crooked as can be. Maybe if Detroit cleaned house and elected qualified leaders (instead of people like Martha Reeves) they could rebound. Don't hold your breathe. If you do not like politics being dictated by black ministers to some degree, Detroit is NOT for you. If you do not like anti-white sentiments spewing from the Mayor's mouth every other day, Detroit is NOT for you.

Enjoy!!

I kept waiting for that guy to throw the hammer at one of the women but I don't think he ever did. Thanks for posting the link to the video.
