I think its worth noting that while the Michigan sub-forum may be a bit slow (?) the City Data Forum overall is not. If you go to the new post section there is a new post somewhere every 8-15 seconds.

There's a place in Greektown called Redsmoke Barbecue. It's less busy and better than Slow's IMO.
