I agree that she is Kwame's pet but it may not be due to any sexual affair. (Ewww! The mental picture! My head hurts!) My guess is that they are involved in dirty deals together and if he goes down, he will probably make a deal for a lighter sentence and take her down too. It would be a good bargaining chip for him. Just imagine the power he must have over her, and over her husband, John Conyers. Think of all the dealings behind the scenes going on right now that we will probably never hear about.

As for most of the council: God, they ARE embarrassing, aren't they?

Wow, I just saw that video and thought she is outrageous. The guy who she is arguing with is trying to stay civil and be professional and shes just being ridiculous. I mean calling someone shrek, seriously this lady has no class

I still have my Kay Everett hat calendar on the fridge. The year is wrong but the pictures are great.

I call this Kay the "1st SS Panzer Division Kay". This site won't let me post the url to the pic because of the nanny filter, but here's the link to the Metro Times article where you can see the pic:

I don't think this one was in the calendar, but it's a pretty cool hat nevertheless. I call this Kay the "James Bond Kay" because she could probably whip that hat off, throw it at you like a Frisbee and take your head clean off.
