Well I went just to find one which........ I don't even remember what i was looking for but all of these popped up and and I couldn't pick just one. They all described him! So I put them all up.

How come nobody has mentioned or noticed this one?
April 8th, pg. 10; when talking about her kids 'missing him wanting to see him, etc...He comes back with the statements "...yeah, I miss them too and since I might be THERE stepdad one day"...

Could it be that the transcriptionists did this blatant error in regards to the pronoun "THEIR", when using the incorrect word of "THERE" showing place, direction? This is an error that we did not make in Jr. High school English class. Didn't this guy go to college? Was he not an attorney? or Frat boy? whatever :-P

As a former Copy/Tech. Editor for (medical & legal docs) this bugs me to no end. It's not just a 'texting shortand' sort of thing, this is just plain stupidity.

Yes, Kenneth Cockrel Sr. was really the "Man" in the 60s with his high-profile cases against racial discrimination, cop beatings, false arrests, etc. It was known around the criminal circles that if you were a dopman, had big bank acct? Call Cockrel to defend you in Oakland County or Wayne County courthouses. His son never did 'warm up' to his stepmom, Sheila, in the political viewpoints. They were at odds alot when both started serving in City positions. She has been a long-time advocate for the down-trodden, and human rights, as the deceased MayAnn McAffey was too.
However, this Monica Conyers is just a ghetto-trash, round-the-way girl fortunate to get in this job due to her powerful hubby/congressman. She showed her TRUE SELF when resorting to name=calling & schoolyard tactics. (the Shrek comment) was kinda right on point, but the City council chambers is NO PLACE for such antics from her, shame on this tr*mp.

Stepmother is definitely NOT the same as Mother, for sure. I believe that Cockrel Sr. had kids in college when the "white girl" became an issue in that household. In those early days of racial mixed-marriages, it was still frowned upon, esp. in the Revolutionary upheaval times as the 60s.
